Corks & Cuts Spirits Food & Daiquiri Shop

Description

Corks and Cuts is an established Shreveport business combining a liquor store with an in-house butcher and prepared food operation.

The two concepts operate from the same location and generate revenue from several product categories rather than relying on a single line of business.

Products and services

• Wine, craft beer and spirits
• Bourbon and whiskey
• Frozen beverages
• Fresh hand-cut meat
• Certified Angus Beef products
• Prepared foods and ready-to-heat meals
• Catering
• Online ordering
• Drive-through service

The meat department prepares products on site and uses proprietary marinades. A commercial kitchen is also used for casseroles and other prepared foods sold through the store and catering operation.

The seller reports a long-standing customer base and approximately 30 years of industry experience behind the current operating systems.

The facility is arranged so the liquor, meat and prepared food sides can operate with a relatively small staff.

Possible areas for additional sales include catering, online ordering and a broader prepared-food or specialty product selection.

Buyers should verify historical financials by revenue category, food and beverage margins, inventory value, staffing, equipment ownership, recipes and proprietary products, supplier relationships, catering accounts and online sales.

Alcohol sales, meat processing, prepared food production and catering are subject to applicable Louisiana and local licensing, health, food-safety and alcohol regulations. Buyers should confirm all permit and transfer requirements before closing.
