Very Profitable And Stable Dry Cleaner Business

Description

This family-owned dry cleaning business has operated in the Northern Kansas City market for more than 20 years. Over that time, it has built a dependable customer base that includes both residential and commercial accounts, along with regular weekly pickup route service.

Current Operation

The business is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM and is closed on weekends. Its current financial performance is based on a staffing model that assumes two hired employees, giving a clearer picture of earnings under a more hands-off ownership structure.

• More than 20 years in business
• Residential and commercial customers
• Weekly pickup route already in place
• Monday through Friday operating schedule
• Seller's Discretionary Earnings calculated with two employees

Capacity and Growth

The operation has more equipment capacity than it currently uses, which leaves room to handle additional volume without an immediate need for major equipment purchases. The business also runs with little dedicated marketing and does not currently rely on social media to generate customers.

Those two areas create room for expansion under new ownership. The sellers believe revenue could grow by 40% or more with more active management, additional promotion, and greater use of the equipment already in place.

Sale and Transition

The owners are preparing to retire after many years in the business. The sale includes the existing customer relationships, operating systems, pickup route, and equipment used in the current operation, allowing a new owner to continue the business without rebuilding it from scratch.
