High-Demand Storage And Relocation Company With Recurring Income For Sale

Description

Mobile storage and relocation business for sale. The company provides portable storage containers that are delivered directly to residential and commercial customers.

Business model

Customers use the containers for temporary storage, moving, remodeling projects and other situations where on-site storage is more convenient than transporting items back and forth to a traditional storage facility.

• Portable storage container rentals
• Residential moving and storage
• Renovation-related storage
• Commercial storage
• Extended rental periods

Operations

The business can operate with a relatively small team and does not require a large traditional self-storage facility.

Revenue is generated from the container fleet, with additional capacity added by purchasing and placing more containers into service.

Customer base

Customers include homeowners, renters, contractors and businesses that need short-term or flexible storage.

The seller reports repeat business, longer-term rentals and referrals from previous customers.

Growth

• Add more storage containers
• Increase utilization of the existing fleet
• Develop relationships with contractors and property managers
• Expand commercial accounts
• Increase local marketing
• Expand into nearby service areas

Due diligence

Buyers should verify historical financials, fleet size, container ownership and condition, utilization rates, average rental duration, transportation costs, customer concentration, storage-yard arrangements, vehicle requirements, insurance and any current rental contracts before closing.
